I'm really happy with how this turned out. My first MLP OC has got an upgrade!
I wanted to get this done yesterday so that I could show it to Wade.
So I did a sketch of the body, inked it, and then realised I had forgotten the armour XD.
I tried to remedy it by using armour that didn't interfere with the outline... but it ended up pretty terrible.
On the upside it gave me a bit of practice!
This is probably my favourite pony art so far, I even gave him a very lightly shaded green background .
You can see he has developed a fair bit since just a little while ago: Wadicus in all his Glory
I feel kind of proud .
I'm using images of Clydeshires as references now rather than MLP artwork, but I'm still learning from techniques other people use.
Edit: that's a chain shirt by the way. I tried drawing the links but I like it better like this.
For DnD fans his AC in 3.5 would be 10 + 2 (Dex) + 4 (Armour) + 3 (Natural) = 19!
